Symposia
A rich program of lectures and workshops, which we are preparing with our partners and supporters for university and high school students, as well as professionals and the general public interested in the history and present of knitting and clothing design.
The program also includes an evening concert and exhibition in the industrial setting of the Schindlers Knitting Mill and a walk through the Czech Switzerland National Park.
Tradition is about passing on the flame, not worshipping ashes. We are continuing the work of our ancestors and carrying on their legacy with reverence and respect. Now, with enthusiasm, excitement, and energy, and with modern technologies and functional materials, we aim to preserve and pass on to future generations the more than 160-year-long tradition of knitting production in Krásná Lípa, of which we are duly proud and to which we are committed.
